Okay so--! Just a few short announcements.
Again! Welcome all new people to the game! We're so glad to have you, if you ever need anything, just drop us a line <3
We've had a chat and we're going to have to make a few changes to the application process! Not that it's anything major, just to the Game section of the apps!
1a) You must give a reasoning for your character's parent choice. Yes, it may seem obvious. But that doesn't necessarily mean that we know the canon or understand why you made that decision. It is written on the app page to explain why, but we've been lenient on it so far. We will pend further applications without an explanation of why you chose that god.
1b) You must provide an explanation of why your character deserves a rare power. When asking for your character to have Charmspeak in Aphrodite's cabin or control over fire in Hephaestus's, along with any other power that we've listed as rare, you must here on out explain why. We're willing to work with you guys here, but it's really hard to reasonably see why two characters in a game (and all the residents of a cabin) have a power that supposedly hasn't been seen for hundreds of years. This isn't your fault, we should've planned ahead. But you'll need to provide a good explanation from here on out.
1c) Unless your character was previously not human, don't fill out the appearance section. When it comes to certain canons, we don't know that they were human or not prior, so unless your character's appearance is changing, we don't really need you to fill it out.
The app page has been edited to reflect these changes!
2) The game's first event will be held on May 31st. It will be a pretty routine game of Capture the Flag. If you guys have any questions or suggestions for this, please drop them in the comments below! For more information on Capture the Flag at Camp Half-Blood, check out this link here! Depending on how many kids are claimed at the time, Capture the Flag may just be Cabin 11 vs Literally Everyone Else.
3) As for claiming, we've had a few questions. No, it is not necessary to get permission from the mods. However, you do have to confirm this on the designated Cabin on the cabins tag. If your character is the child of a minor deity (aka, not one of the 12 Olympians or Hades), just sign up with Cabin 11. Hades gets a page of his own because we have to keep track of the Big Three's kids. For Reasons. Yeah.

So how do you capture prisoners? Just whoever happens to walk over to your side?

The punishment for killing someone doesn't seem severe enough... :o
