Hello, I'm Rak. New to this here game, but nowhere near new to RPing. Read the PJO books, not yet the HOO books. Anyway? This is Maya Matlin from Degrassi, a cute little band geek. ...She's just a bit troubled due to dead boyfriend trauma, but for the most part she's just your average teenager. Attitude, emotion, musical talent.

Anyway, she's a daughter of Apollo, music is her life and all that. I hope to have lots of fun threads!

Do you actually know Maya's canon, because that'll be a first if that's true. And I apped Maya because I just went "That's her Godly parent!" without a lot of mulling.

I do know the Degrassi series BUT I suspect not the version Maya comes from because I don't remember her. So I'm half-way there? :D

That does happen with a series that's starting Season 13 soon, Maya was introduced in Season 11. So of my Degrassi muses she's the youngest, and it makes sense nobody recognizes her even if they know the Spinner, Jimmy, Emma, and Manny eras of Degrassi.

Ahhh there we go, I wasn't aware that it had moved on so far! I used to watch it as a kid, so. I commend you in your choice of canons at any rate, I used to love it.

It's still trucking and throwing pretty big issues every season. So mostly what's changed is how long a season is (and how many female characters date Spinner... since he's been gone since Season 9).
