☼ The game grows bigger/The mod team is overwhelmed/Inquire within
Your friendly mod team here with a few announcements here and a bad haiku? Nothing bad! Just some announcements!
First off, we have had an influx of apps and reserves lately (yaaaaay!) that has piled up on the mods as A Lot Of Work (noooooo!). This is a good thing as the game is growing (yaaaaaaaaaaay!!!) but a bad thing as we have been freaking swamped (nooooooo!!).
So we have to implement a few changes.
While I just spoke the other day on plurk about apps and how neither of us like cycles, we are going to have an app-checking day. That means that you can turn in an app at any time, but it won't be reviewed until Friday. This will go into effect on June 1st. We're going to do our best to be prompt, but we don't want to burn out.
The other big change is that we're looking for someone to join the mod team! Right now it's just me and Kite and Kite's doing most of the work because timezones (she wakes up like hours ahead of me). So we're looking for someone to help us with the tech stuff. Updating the lists and claimed lists, watching the reserves, keeping track of stuff like that. Basically, assistant to the mods. Perks do come with this, as you get to be in the special mod clique on plurk which means you get to Know Things.
Basically what we're looking for is someone who will check the inbox daily for reserves, drops, list updates and things like that, and then update said lists. We may also ask for help with applications at times, and other things (like opinions on events), but generally your only responsibility will be lists.

ϟ Capture the flag will be held on May 31st! You should totally get your characters claimed prior to this so we can form even teams!
ϟ Claimed children of the Big Three (Zeus, Poseidon, Hades) are going to be pulled aside for a short plot point early in the month of June. Prepare yourselves.
ϟ Remember neither of the changes above will come into play until JUNE 1ST
